Navigator Energy Services LLC extended the binding open season for its Big Spring Gateway Pipeline system volume commitments, the company said March 31. The open season now ends April 7, the company added.
Big Spring Gateway will be in service in the second half of 2015, and Navigator has begun construction.
Big Spring Gateway will ship 140,000 barrels per day (Mbbl/d) of crude oil to Permian Basin producers and shippers through the BridgeTex Pipeline, and Sunoco-operated pipelines near Colorado City, Texas.
The system will provide West Texas producers a direct path to about 900 Mbbl/d of pipeline takeaway from Colorado City to Texas Gulf Coast and Mid-Continent market centers.
The system will span Martin, Howard, Glasscock and Midland counties in Texas and include more than 250 miles of gathering pipeline, 200 miles of transportation mainline, seven truck injection stations and 225 Mbbl of planned storage capacity.
Dallas-based Navigator provides domestic midstream services.
