Empresas ICA has been awarded the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a new deepwater technology center for the Mexican Petroleum Institute—IMP in Boca del Rio, Veracruz, according to a news release.
The contract was awarded through an international bidding process.
The fixed-term contract includes engineering, land preparation and urbanization works, procurement and construction of five laboratories and other buildings, auxiliary services, a high-pressure water circuit, installation of equipment, project management and training, the release said.
The work is scheduled to be completed in November 2015.
