Longview Energy Co. retained Meagher Energy Advisors to sell Arkoma Basin gas production with proprietary 3-D seismic assets.
The Arkoma assets are located in Le Flore, McIntosh and Okmulgee counties, Okla., and Sebastian County, Ark.
Asset Highlights:
- Proprietary 79 square miles of high-quality 3-D data in Le Flore and Sebastian, counties
- No licenses outstanding; buyer will own the seismic free and clear
- No other 3-D seismic has ever been shot over this acreage
- Workstation will be set up to view the 3-D seismic in Meagher’s Tulsa office
- 107 well bores; 22 operated wells and 85 nonoperated wells
- 5,601.81 net leasehold acres; all HBP
- Stable production and cash flow
- Projected average monthly net cash flow of $20,203
- Projected average 12-month Gross production: 1,623 Mcf/d
- Projected average 12-month Net production: 674 Mcf/d
- Extensive land data to enable Buyer to expand position
Geology/Reservoir:
- 3-D seismic should lead to several drillable prospects, both structural and stratigraphic in nature
- 3-D seismic area is underlain by 50 ft to 120 ft of gross Woodford along with a developed Caney and Mississippian interval
- One vertical well penetrated and tested the Woodford resulting in pipeline quality gas
- Extensive geological and geophysical mapping done by geologist and geophysicist who redeveloped Red Oak Field for BP
- A workstation will be set up at the Meagher Tulsa office for Buyers to view the 3-D seismic
Bids are due Oct. 25. The transaction is expected to close Nov. 29 with an effective date of Sept. 1.
