2H Offshore has won a contract for the detailed design of a Steel Catenary Riser (SCR) project with LLOG Exploration Co.
The SCRs will be the first attached to the Exmar OPTI-11000 semisubmersible production facility, destined for LLOG's deepwater Delta House field development in the US Gulf.
The scope of work includes the provision of detailed design of the production and export SCRs tied back to the semisub. LLOG is developing the Marmalard and SOB2 fields in the Mississippi Canyon area, both of which will be tied back to the floating production facility located in MC Block 254.
The production hub will sit in 1,372 m (4,500 ft) of water.
