The US $550 million Lewek Constellation ice-class multi-lay vessel owned by Ezra Holdings subsea subsidiary Ezra-AMC is to mobilise to Gabon to work for Vaalco Energy.
The vessel is en route to China for a 3,000-tonne Huisman crane to be installed before heading on to Gabon. Once there it will carry out work on two new Vaalco production platforms lined up for installation during the first half of this year, one on the Etame field and another between the SE Etame and North Tchibala fields.
Following the completion of the installation work, the vessel is due to have a pipelay tower installed.
