Legend Oil and Gas Ltd. (OTC: LOGL) appointed Warren S. Binderman as its executive vice president, CFO and principal accounting officer, the company said July 10. Additionally, Andrew Reckles was appointed as its chief restructuring officer, the company noted.
Binderman, a certified public accountant, is the managing director and founder of Binderman Group LLC, Legend said. Reckles is the managing partner and founder of Northpoint Energy Partners LLC, the company added.
Binderman has more than 25 years’ experience in accounting, finance and business, and worked for national firms in auditing and transaction, as well as in CFO and principal accounting officer roles, Legend said.
Binderman has a bachelor’s degree in business and management with an accounting concentration from the University of Maryland, the company said.
"Warren has deep strength in technical accounting and finance, as well as audit methodologies. His strength in developing, enhancing and remediating our company's system of internal control over financial reporting, segregation of duties and budget control will raise our level of corporate competencies," said CEO Marshall Diamond-Goldberg.
Reckles founded Northpoint, a financing and advisory company for the industry, in 2010. He has structured or funded more than 150 domestic and international transactions exceeding $500 million in closed deals, Legend said. At “numerous companies across multiple industries,” he has been CEO, president and chief restructuring officer, and has held board positions, Legend noted.
Reckles attended Arizona State University, the company added.
