On July 7, the financial services firm ING Capital LLC said that Scott Lamoreaux was appointed as director of its Natural Resources Oil & Gas Group, based in Houston.
Lamoreaux has more than 30 years’ experience in the energy industry, the company said.
Previously, he led the upstream and midstream finance segment of Siemens Financial Services Inc.’s Project & Structured Finance Group in Houston, ING said.
"Scott's deep knowledge of the energy industry and extensive transactional experience will be invaluable to our team as we continue our strong efforts to expand ING's franchise in the upstream energy industry," said Charles Hall, the managing director of the Natural Resources Oil & Gas Group.
Lamoreaux holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Kansas State University, a master’s degree in geology from Wichita State University in Kansas, and an MBA in finance from the University of Houston, the company said.
