KBR is to carry out the topsides design for Subsea 7 on operator Chevron’s deepwater Lianzi development in the unitised offshore zone between the Republic of Congo and the Republic of Angola. The contractor will provide laser scanning of the entire Benguela Belize Lobito Tomboco topsides, FEED verification, detailed engineering and procurement services.
The topsides design will include multiple equipment packages. In addition, KBR will provide the necessary assistance during fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases of the project, which will be managed from KBR’s Houston operating centre and its Luanda, Angola office.
