Juniper Resources LLC closed its private equity financing commitment and partnership with Natural Gas Partners (NGP) through NGP Natural Resources XI LP private-equity fund, the company said Oct. 26. This is the most recent NGP fund focused on natural resources and management, the company added.
Ian Delahunty leads the Dallas-based E&P company as CEO and president. He is the former president of TransAtlantic Petroleum. Steven Thibodeaux, the COO and chief geologist, is the former vice president and chief geologist of Peak Resources I, II and III. Matt Strickler, who is also at the company, is the former vice president of land at TransAtlantic Petroleum and Longfellow Energy.
The three co-founders maintain strong connections to the Four Corners area. The company's focus will be the development of oil and natural gas assets in the San Juan Basin.
“We have a great opportunity to partner with Ian and the Juniper team. We look forward to working with them and are excited they selected NGP to be their partner in this venture,” said Chris Carter, managing partner of NGP.
