GAIN Clean Fuel, a division of U.S. Oil, opened a new CNG station in Aurora, Colo., just east of Denver on Thursday. The new station provides easy-access, fast-fill capabilities and is strategically located along a major shipping corridor. GAIN is on track to build 100 stations across the U.S. during the next three years.
Project design was completed by CESO Inc. Onsite construction and management was provided by its sister company DDC LLC. Together, DDC and CESO provided successful turn-key delivery of the new CNG station.
It’s projected that the Aurora station will replace the equivalent of 400,000 gallons of diesel fuel in the next year and more than 1.5 million gallons in the next five years. The replacement will lower greenhouse gas emissions by more than 714 tons in the next year and 2,680 tons over five years.
