Jack B. Moore, former chairman of Cameron International Corp., was elected to Occidental Petroleum Corp.’s (NYSE: OXY) board of directors, the company said July 14.
Moore was chairman of the board for Cameron International from 2011 until it was acquired by Schlumberger Ltd. in April.
He joined Cameron in 1999, and was CEO from 2008 to 2015, and was president from 2008 to 2014. Prior to joining Cameron, he held various management positions at Baker Hughes Inc., where he worked for 23 years.
Moore has a bachelor’s of business administration degree from the University of Houston, and attended Harvard Business School’s advanced management program.
Occidental Petroleum Corp. is based in Houston.
