ExxonMobil Corp. has retained The Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse to auction its interests in about 25,000 gross acres in the Mariposa Field in Brooks County, Texas.
The acreage includes 13 producing, operated wells and 15 non-operated, producing wells.
Net production was 14 barrels of oil per day and 2.56 million cubic feet (MMcf) of natural gas per day from working interest wells. In addition, the assets include a net six barrels of oil per day and 420 Mcf per day of natural gas from ORRI wells.
Gross production from the acreage is 180 barrels of oil per day and 5.05 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The seller’s 2011 net operating profit from the acreage was $6.8 million.
