The board of directors at EXCO Resources Inc. (NYSE: XCO) appointed Harold H. Jameson as company COO, EXCO said April 17. His appointment was effective that day, the company added.
Most recently, since March 2011, Jameson was vice president of development and production at the company, focusing on horizontal development drilling in the Haynesville, Eagle Ford and Marcellus, EXCO added.
Prior to joining EXCO in 2007, Jameson worked at Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: APC) from 1991 to 2007.
Also, the company appointed Harold L. Hickey as CEO and president.
“We are pleased that Harold is taking on the role of chief operating officer [COO] at EXCO. Harold’s valuable experience within our industry across a variety of operating areas and in various leadership positions makes him exceptionally qualified for this role. Harold is a seasoned and trusted leader who consistently delivers results,” Hickey said.
Dallas-based EXCO Resources Inc. acquires and develops domestic oil and natural gas.
