Mediterranean-focused Energean Oil and Gas Plc said April 8 it has brought extended reach well EA-H3 into production after completing drilling operations.
Located in the Epsilon oil field offshore Greece, the well was drilled by the Energean Force rig.
The well was brought into production April 1 and is producing at a stable dry oil rate of more than 1,000 barrels of oil per day on a restricted choke, the company said in a news release. It was drilled to a total measured depth of 5,679 m and has penetrated 689 m of the Epsilon sandstone reservoir, which was in line with pre-drill expectations.
Energean said it will continue to monitor and fine-tune production parameters to ensure optimal production from the well.
