Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has been awarded a contract from BG Group worth about $27 million for 3-D electromagnetic (EM) data acquisition in Uruguay, according to a press release.
It is expected that the EM data acquisition will start around Dec. 15, 2014 by the vessel EM Leader. The survey has an expected duration of 3.5 months.
