Egon Zehnder, the world’s leading privately-owned executive search and talent consulting firm, recently announced key leadership appointments in the firm’s energy practice in Houston.
Todd Auwarter joins Egon Zehnder as a consultant in the firm's Houston office where he will be dedicated to serving energy and private equity clients across upstream, oilfield services, midstream, downstream, power, renewables and related industries. In this role, he will advise clients on executive searches, as well as management appraisals and strategies to guide the accelerated integration of transitioning executives.
Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Auwarter was a Principal with Bain & Co., where he led numerous engagements in the energy sector, with a particular emphasis on upstream, oilfield services, and private equity-backed entities.
Roger Aguirre, a Houston-based consultant, will now assume leadership of the Oilfield Services Sector. Aguirre has deeply rooted experience in the oil & gas industry having served in various leadership roles at Schlumberger and GE Oil & Gas.
“We are seeing a strong demand for highly skilled talent in the energy space,” said Carol SingletonSlade, head of the Global Energy Practice at Egon Zehnder. “We are uniquely positioned to fill that demand by complementing the existing strengths of our current practice with the leadership of Todd and Roger. They will be instrumental as we continue to grow and service all areas of the energy sector.”
