Dakota Midstream LLC announced a binding open season for a crude oil gathering pipeline system in McKenzie County, N.D. The pipeline is expected to begin operations in February. Dakota Midstream also executed a precedent agreement with an unaffiliated committed firm shipper, according to the company’s statement.
The open season began on Jan. 2 and will run until 5 p.m. Central time on Jan. 31. Interested parties should submit binding bids in accordance with procedures set forth in Dakota Midstream’s open season notice.
Dakota Midstream will offer firm and non-firm committed services on the pipeline, and will reserve more than 10% of the project’s capacity for uncommitted shippers. Proposed shipper rates for committed firm, committed non-firm and uncommitted services are in the notice.
