Blackeagle Energy Services said that its construction work on the origin stations for NGL Energy Partners’ Grand Mesa Pipeline project will be completed by the end of October.
The origin stations near Lucerne and Riverside, Colo., will gather crude oil from Weld County, Colo., and transfer it to NGL's storage facility in Cushing, Okla.
As general contractor since April, Blackeagle has provided concrete work, fabricated and installed pipes, set up equipment and raised structural steel for the stations, Superintendent Gary Evans said in an Oct. 26 press release. Blackeagle provided this work on-budget and on-time, he said.
Evans said that the pipeline will benefit the region’s long-term tax base, and the project’s construction has benefited Weld County.
Blackeagle Energy Services, a utility and energy construction company, is based in Berthoud, Colo.
