Acreage in the Bakken Shale and Oklahoma's Stack Play has changed hands, according to TenOaks Energy Advisors LLC.
Dale Operating Co. has sold Bakken/Three Forks mineral and royalty interest properties to an undisclosed buyer, Ten Oaks said Oct. 30.
In addition, KPL Production Co. LLC has sold certain operated properties in the Stack Play to Staghorn Petroleum LLC.
TenOaks, based in Dallas, served as the exclusive divestiture agent to the sellers in both of the deals. The values of the transactions weren't revealed.
Dale Operating is a Dallas company actively involved in generating prospects, drilling operations, acquiring minerals, leasehold and nonoperated working interests in various petroleum producing regions throughout the U.S., according to its website.
The company's current areas of interest include:
- Williston Basin in North Dakota and Montana;
- Delaware Basin in New Mexico;
- Anadarko and Ardmore basins in Oklahoma;
- Permian Basin and TX-LA-MS Salt Basin in Texas; and
- Appalachian Basin in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
KPL Production is based in Oklahoma City. Staghorn Petroleum is based in Tulsa, Okla.
