Comancheria Energy Resources LLC acquired Leor Resources LLC and its subsidiaries, the company said Sept. 29. The acquisition became effective Sept. 15.
All properties owned by Leor are situated in East Texas. The specific terms of the transaction are confidential, Comancheria added.
”We plan to exploit the vast resource potential we perceive to be held within the Leor assets. This acquisition affords us an excellent, balanced portfolio. The Leor oil and gas properties have value with respect to a balance of different play types, a balance of product types, and balance regarding a range of target depths," Kenton Holliday, president and CEO of Comancheria, said.
Comancheria Energy Resources LLC is based in Houston. Its founding members are former upper management of Leor, and the company’s primary focus is on East Texas A&D and exploration.
