Geoff Barlow, CEO of Chinook Energy Inc. (TO: CKE.TO), resigned as CFO and vice president of finance, the company said March 31, noting that the resignation becomes effective April 10.
Barlow resigned to “pursue other opportunities,” Chinook Energy said.
"We sincerely appreciate Geoff's professionalism, leadership and contributions to our company during his tenure and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors," said Matt Brister, chairman of the company.
A search is underway to fill the role, the company said.
Calgary, Alberta-based Chinook Energy Inc. holds oil and natural gas assets in western Canada and Tunisia.
