A horizontal wildcat in Isaac Ryan Survey, A-379, in southwestern Palo Pinto County, Texas, (RRC 7B) reached total depth of approximately 7,500 ft. in Isaac Ryan Survey, A-413, in northern Eastland County. Casing was set in Barnett shale at 6,400 ft. by CDX Gas LLC, Dallas, at its #5H Pilot, more than two miles south of the town of Strawn. The company also drilled #1H Pilot to 5,779 ft. in Hiram Peace Survey, A-401, Eastland County, and is awaiting completion tools. In the same survey, #4H Pilot was drilled to an unreported depth and #2 Pilot reached 3,741 ft. The company also drilled #3H Pilot to 7,000 ft. in the I. Ryan Survey, A- 413. The closest Barnett production to the cluster of wildcats is more than five miles northeast, where #5 R.L. Graham, in Abner Ashworth Survey, A-1, tested for 285,000 cu. ft. of gas a day.
