Bumi Armada Berhad’s wholly owned subsidiary Bumi Armada Offshore Holdings Ltd. together with its joint venture company, PT Armada Gema Nusantara, have been awarded a contract to supply one FPSO vessel for the Madura BD Field, about 65 km (40 miles) east of Surabaya and about 16 km (10 miles) south of Madura Island offshore Indonesia issued by Husky-CNOOC Madura Ltd.
The contract is for a firm charter period of 10 years with options of five annual extensions. The estimated aggregate value of the contract is about $1.18 billion.
The FPSO vessel is expected to commence operations in the Madura BD Field in fourth-quarter 2016.
