BreitBurn Energy Partners LP, Los Angeles, (Nasdaq: BBEP) has extended the expiration date for its previously announced exchange offer relating to its outstanding $305-million aggregate principal amount of 8.625% senior notes due 2020, which commenced on Feb. 17.
The exchange offer, which was initially scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on March 21, has been extended until 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on Wednesday, March 30. Holders of notes previously tendered for exchange shall have the right to withdraw tenders of notes at any time prior to the expiration of the exchange offer. As of March 21, holders of $302.25 million, or 99.1% of the outstanding principal amount of the notes, have tendered their notes for exchange.
BreitBurn Energy Partners is an independent oil and gas limited partnership focused on the acquisition, exploitation, development and production of oil and gas properties. These producing and non-producing crude oil and natural gas reserves are in Northern Michigan, the Los Angeles Basin in California, the Wind River and Big Horn Basins in central Wyoming, the Sunniland trend in Florida, and the New Albany shale in Indiana and Kentucky.
