Brazil will hold a new auction of presalt oil on Aug. 31 when it will offer 3 million barrels of crude, the state marketing company Pre-sal Petroleo SA (PPSA) said in a statement July 17.
PPSA said the oil to be auctioned will be from the Mero area and the Lula and Sapinhoa fields.
