Texas Institute of Science (TxIS), a global research and engineering services firm, is pleased to welcome Arnaud Bobillier and Galen Cobb as the newest members of TxIS's Board of Directors. Both Mr. Bobillier and Mr. Cobb will provide expert advice on technology, industry and trends as TxIS implements plans for mid- and long-term growth.
Bobillier retired from Transocean on July 1, 2012 after 32 years of service. Bobillier stated, "I am excited to join TxIS as one of its Board Members as I experienced the effectiveness and sensed the potential of the firm while at Transocean. TxIS, with its unique business model based on fast responding and dynamic engineering services, is poised to become a great asset to many in the global energy sector."
Cobb is currently employed as VP, Industry Relations, at Halliburton.
"We are thrilled to welcome Arnaud and Galen to Texas Institute of Science. They will both be tremendous assets to the organization," said Laslo Olah, President and CEO of TxIS. "The wealth of experience and insight they bring will be critically important for us to engage in global research and development serving individual clients and technology consortiums."
