BNK Petroleum Inc. (TO: BKX.TO) provided corporate updates April 11.
Through an overallotment option, a syndicate of underwriters led by Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd. purchased an additional 900,000 common shares that were part of a bought deal offering that closed March 26, the company said that day.
The net proceeds from the offering were $1,980,000, the company added.
The underwriters included GMP Securities LP, TD Securities Inc. and Cormark Securities Inc.
Additionally, the company noted April 11 that Leslie O’Connor was appointed to its board of directors. She is managing partner of MHA Petroleum Consultants LLC, a petroleum reservoir management consulting firm, the company said, adding that she has more than 30 years’ experience in the industry.
Previously, O’Connor worked for Sproule Associates Inc., GeoQuest Reservoir Technologies, Thums Long Beach and Dresser Atlas, BNK Petroleum said.
O’Connor holds a bachelor’s of science in geology with applied engineering from North Arizona University, BNK Petroleum said. She also completed petroleum engineering graduate studies at the Colorado School of Mines, the company added.
Camarillo, Calif.-based BNK Petroleum Inc. is an exploration and production (E&P) company working in domestic and international unconventional oil and natural gas areas.
