Belle Fourche Pipeline Company and Bridger Pipeline LLC announced July 21, 2014, the start of an open season to obtain volume commitments to support coordinated expansions of their Wyoming common carrier pipeline systems in order to substantially increase their capacity to transport crude petroleum from the Powder River Basin to Guernsey, Wyo. The open season began at 8:00 a.m. Mountain Time on July 21, 2014 and will close at 5:00 p.m. Mountain Time on August 20, 2014. The design of the expansion and the additional capacity volume available on the Pipeline will be dependent on commitments received during the open season.
The open season process provides potential shippers with the opportunity to make volume commitments and execute long-term transportation contracts with the pipelines. Shippers electing to make long-term volume commitments to the pipelines will be eligible to receive discounted transportation rates for their committed volumes. A firm service option will also be available for commitments on certain portions of the pipeline.
The pipelines plan to offer producers in the liquids-rich Powder River Basin multiple points of origin throughout the basin for transportation to Guernsey, Wyo.
A complete description and additional details regarding the Pipeline, including an Open Season Notice, are available by contacting Robert Stamp at 307.266.0345 or Robert.Stamp@Truecos.com.
