Bakken Resources Inc. (OTC: BKKN) reported $2 million of net income for the 2013 fiscal year, the company said April 15, noting its 10-K report.
"This past year has been very active for the company," said Val Holms, CEO.
The company’s 10-K revealed that it had $3,483,010 in total current assets for year-end 2013, while 2012’s were $1,448,450. Additionally, the form revealed that Bakken Resources’ revenue had increased year-over-year. The company had $3,992,989 in revenue at year-end 2013, and at year-end 2012, it had $1,727,818, according to the form.
Holms added, "We have achieved full year profitability for the first time, are entirely debt-free, and we have a number of exciting projects we hope to announce that will help us continue to drive our success into the future."
Helena, Mont.-based Bakken Resources Inc. is an oil and natural gas exploration and production company acquiring mineral leases in North Dakota and Montana.
