Bahamas Petroleum has appointed an ex-BP executive and a former minister to its board of directors.
Bill Schrader joins Bahamas Petroleum as non-executive chairman after previously working for BP as a country chief executive and president of the Azerbaijan International Operating Co. and chief operating officer at BP TNK.
Also joining Bahamas as deputy chairman is James Smith, a former minister of state in the Ministry of Finance, who previously served as an ambassador for trade and as a governor of the Central Bank of the Bahamas.
