Aqualis Offshore and China Ship Design & Research Center Co. Ltd. (CSDC) have signed an agreement to cooperate on engineering projects in China and internationally, according to a news release.
Under the agreement, Aqualis Offshore and CSDC will work together in the fields of engineering, project management, research, innovation and marketing, the release said. A key objective is to develop a joint engineering service for offshore newbuild projects in China and elsewhere.
Aqualis Offshore and CSDC aim to provide a joint engineering service to all offshore projects, including jackups, TLPs, spars, semi-submersibles and FPSOs, according to the release. They will also provide FEED services, including conceptual design, basic design and national research projects, plus detailed design engineering service for transportation and offshore installation of fixed platforms, floating structures and subsea facilities.
