Andeavor (NYSE: ANDV) said Aug. 11 that it would proceed with plans to build the $225 million, 130-mile Conan Crude Oil Gathering Pipeline system in the Delaware Basin.

Conan will move crude from Lea County, N.M., and Loving County, Texas, to a terminal to be built in Loving County, where it will interconnect with long-haul pipeline carriers. Capacity for the first phase of the system will be about 250,000 barrels per day (Mbbl/d). Future phases could bring capacity to as much as 500 Mbbl/d.

Andeavor said in a statement that the system, under construction, is scheduled to begin service in mid-2018.
