AltaGas Ltd. (Toronto Venture: ALA.PR.U) announced that it has completed its $350 million issue of senior unsecured medium-term notes. The notes carry a coupon rate of 3.72% and mature on Sept. 28, 2021.
The net proceeds resulting from the offering will be used by AltaGas to reduce bank indebtedness and for general corporate purposes. The unsecured medium-term notes are rated BBB by both Standard & Poor's Rating Services and DBRS Ltd.
The offering was made through a syndicate of investment dealers co-led by TD Securities Inc. and National Bank Financial Inc.
