Alta Mesa Holdings LP closed the sale of subsidiary Alta Mesa Eagle LLC to EnerVest Ltd. and its affiliates, the company said Oct. 2.
Alta Mesa Eagle owns oil and gas producing properties in the Eagle Ford Shale and other assets.
Net proceeds paid down the senior credit facility, whose borrowing base was reduced to $255 million. The amount drawn was about $158 million.
Alta Mesa Holdings LP is based in Houston.
