Acteon subsidiary 2H Offshore is taking a lead role in the delivery of the flexible riser system destined for Tullow Oil’s deepwater TEN development offshore Ghana.
2H was appointed lead riser engineering consultancy by Tullow for the delivery of the system for the Tweneboa, Enyenra and Ntomme development in the Deepwater Tano block. The field is located approximately 30 km to the west of the operator’s producing Jubilee field in water depths ranging between 1,000-1,800 m (3,281-5,906 ft).
Production will be gathered via subsea manifolds and flexible risers and flowed to a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel. 2H’s role is to ensure the riser engineering design complies with ISO 13628-2 and provide recommendations on riser optimisation, installation and overall assurance that the risers meet the project’s Basis of Design (BOD) and specification.
