Summit Midstream Partners LP has promoted William (Bill) Mault to executive vice president and CFO following the departure of Marc Stratton to pursue other interests, according to a recent company release.

“I would like to thank Marc for his service and contributions to Summit over the past 12 years and wish him success in his future endeavors,” Heath Deneke, Summit Midstream president, CEO and chairman, commented in the company release from Feb. 8.

Stratton had joined Summit Investments as a founding member in 2009, and has held various senior management roles at the company. He had been promoted to executive vice president and CFO in December 2018. His employment with the company will terminate effective March 4, according to the release.

“Marc was a founding member of Summit Investments,” Deneke continued, “has served in various senior management roles and spearheaded a series of capital markets transactions that significantly transformed SMLP’s balance sheet and enhanced financial flexibility.”

In addition to Mault’s promotion, Summit also announced on Feb. 8 the promotion of Matt Sicinski to senior vice president and chief accounting officer. Both promotions were effective immediately.

“I’m excited to welcome Bill and Matt as the newest members of Summit’s senior management team and look forward to working with them in their new roles,” Deneke said of the pair’s promotions. “They have been critical members of the team since joining the company and have been deeply involved in SMLP’s financial and strategic initiatives.”

Mault joined Summit in 2016 and has held various senior management roles at the company including, vice president of corporate development, finance and treasurer. Sicinski joined the company in February 2020 as the company’s vice president and chief accounting officer.

“They bring a highly complementary skill set to the company,” Deneke added of Mault and Sicinski, “and I am confident that they have the relevant experience and knowledge to succeed in their new roles and will continue to focus on creating long-term value for our investors.”

Mault is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Banking, Finance and Economics, from Northwood University.
