NOV Inc. named on Jan. 17 Patricia Melcher to its board of directors effective immediately, bringing the number on the board to nine.
Melcher joins NOV’s board from EIV Capital, an energy-focused private equity firm that she co-founded in 2009.
Melcher also founded investment firm Allegro Capital Management in 1997, was CEO of Petrocom Energy Group and has more than 35 years of experience in the energy business sector under her belt.
“[Melcher] is an outstanding business leader who brings decades of oilfield service and sustainable energy investing experience to our board, who will help guide our innovations to empower the energy industry to create value for NOV shareholders,” said Clay Williams, NOV’s chairman, president and CEO, in the press release announcing the appointment.
