An Anadarko Basin development well, operated by Houston-based Apache Corp., flowed 5.07 million cu. ft. of gas with seven bbl. of condensate and water daily following fracture stimulation. The #9-25 Morton, Section 25-13n-22w, eastern Roger Mills County, Okla., was tested through perforations between 13,548 ft. and 13,711 ft. The Strong City District producer is seven miles southwest of Hammon.

Denver-based Forest Oil Corp. recorded an initial flow rate of 3.93 million cu. ft. of gas, 150 bbl. of 63-gravity condensate and 1,420 bbl. of water per day at a development test completed 12 miles northeast of Wheeler, Texas. Located in the western Anadarko Basin, #3025 Reynolds, Section 4, Camp CSL Survey, A-24, northeastern Wheeler County, (RRC District 10) produced from four fracture-stimulated intervals of Des Moines Granite Wash. Forest Oil has a dozen prospects, and locations staked for almost 30 more.

Chesapeake Operating Inc. has completed the southernmost Des Moines Granite Wash producer to date in its Colony Wash horizontal program 2.5 miles west of Bessie, Okla. The #1-31H Buffing, Section 31-11n-17w, northern Washita County, flowed 1.97 million cu. ft. of gas, 125 bbl. of condensate and 1,142 bbl. of water per day from 30 intervals of Granite Wash between 12,774 and 16,377 ft. The numerous intervals were fracture-stimulated in three stages. Production was gauged on a 26/64-in. choke—both flowing and shut-in tubing pressures recorded at 1,000 psi—reports IHS Inc.

St. Mary Land & Exploration Co., Denver, recorded a flow of 10.8 million cu. ft. of gas, one bbl. of 55-gravity condensate and 134 bbl. of water per day during preliminary tests of a western Anadarko Basin prospect 12 miles north-northwest of Erick, Okla., in northwestern Beckham County. The #2-34 Joy, Section 34-11n-26w, was tested on a 24/64-in. choke producing through perforations in Atoka between 16,478 and 16,680 ft.

An Apache Corp. infill test completed in Verden Field reported gas flow at an initial rate of 5.3 million cu. ft. per day, with 67 bbl. of 53-gravity condensate and 18 bbl. of water. According to IHS Inc., #1-1 Dunkin, Section 1-6n-9w, in southeastern Caddo County, Okla., approximately four miles south-southwest of Verden, was tested on an 11/64-in. choke. It is producing from four fracture-stimulated intervals of the Lower Wamsley at 17,603-06 ft., 17,645-48 ft., 17,663-66 ft. and 17,682-85 ft.

Tulsa-based Unit Petroleum Co. completed an Oswego producer making 115 bbl. of oil, 28,000 cu. ft. of gas and 10 bbl. of water per day in southern Oklahoma County, Okla. The #17D-2 Capitol Hill, Section 16-11n-3w, was tested through perforations at 7,056-86 ft. after acid treatment.
Unit plans to drill a directional sidetrack that targets Oswego from an abandoned Park Avenue well on the same pad. The #17D1S Capitol Hill is projected westward to a measured depth of 7,600 ft.
