Dune Energy Inc., Houston, (Amex: DNE) plans to acquire the 95% interest in assets in North Texas of Texas-based Voyager Partners Ltd. in two closings for a total of $32.8 million. The properties include 2,457 gross acres predominantly in Denton County on the fairway of the Fort Worth Basin Barnett Shale, and are largely contiguous with existing Dune acreage. Total proved reserves are 29.9 billion cubic feet of gas equivalent plus probable reserves of 16.1 billion cubic feet for a total of 46 billion cubic feet.
