Properties to be sold include interests in the Grand Pre, Musquodoboit, Margaree, Huckleberry and Highland licenses. Nexen Inc., Calgary, plans to sell its interest in a number of noncore properties in southeast Saskatchewan to NAL Oil & Gas Trust, Calgary, and an institutional investor for C$278.5 million. Daily production from the properties average approximately 9,400 BOE. Total proved reserves are estimated at 11.85 million BOE. Acclaim Energy Trust, Calgary, is planning to acquire a package of gas-weighted producing properties in western Canada for approximately C$72 million. Current production is approximately 3,000 BOE per day (75% gas). Established reserves are 9.1 million BOE (65% gas). National Fuel Gas Co., Buffalo, N.Y., E&P subsidiary Seneca Resources Corp. plans to sell its southeast Saskatchewan oil properties to an unnamed buyer for about US$80 million. ARC Energy Trust, Calgary, plans to sell minor properties for approximately C$77 million. Daily production is approximately 3,700 BOE, and established reserves are 9.3 million BOE, (60% gas). Ultima Energy Trust, Calgary, is planning to acquire Trioco Resources Inc. for C$71 million in cash. Trioco's current production is approximately 2,050 BOE per day (68% gas), and its established reserves are 6.05 million BOE. Lexxor Energy Inc., Calgary, and privately held Sine Energy Ltd. plan to merge and become Find Energy Ltd., led by Sine's management team. Find Energy will have daily production of approximately 2,700 BOE (35% gas). Properties are in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Great Northern Exploration Ltd., Calgary, has acquired properties in the Innisfail area of west-central Alberta for C$37 million producing 1,200 BOE per day (50% gas). Proved reserves are 3 million BOE. Separately, Great Northern has acquired properties in west-central Alberta in the Wood River area that produce 825 BOE per day (75% gas). Proved reserves are 2.6 million BOE (70% gas). Celtic Exploration Ltd., Calgary, has acquired assets in Alberta for C$18.6 million. Total proved reserves are 1.7 million BOE. Daily production is 740 BOE. Toro Energy Inc., Calgary, and Sentra Resources Corp. plan to merge. Sentra will have production of approximately 700 BOE per day (50% gas). Its established reserves will be more than 2.3 million BOE. Brooklyn Energy Corp., Calgary, plans to acquire properties in the greater Ferrier area for approximately C$14.2 million. Daily production is 595 BOE. Rival Energy Inc., Calgary, plans to acquire a 50% interest in a gas-producing property and surrounding acreage in southwest Saskatchewan from a privately held company for C$10.7 million. Daily production is 3 million cu. ft. of gas. E3 Energy Inc., Calgary, plans to acquire a private oil and gas company for C$7.7 million in cash, stock and assumption of debt. Assets are in east-central Alberta and produce 400 bbl. of oil per day. Reserves are 1.11 million BOE, 84% proved producing.
