Oil and Gas Investor's editor-in-chief, Leslie Haines, spoke with RSP Permian Inc.'s CEO, Steven Gray, about the company's transition to horizontal drilling at Hart Energy's recent Executive Oil Conference in Midland, Texas. RSP Permian drilled its first horizontal well in 2012, after the technology moved north through the Midland Basin. Now, the company has spent "much more" than originally planned to make the transition, and gone public.
