Royal Dutch Shell Plc has named Wael Sawan integrated gas and renewable and energy solutions director and Zoe Yujnovich upstream director.

Petrolern LLC has appointed Randall (Randy) Gentry director of R&D.

The Association of Energy Service Companies (AESC) has announced the passing of Mary Gill. She was a long-time supporter of the AESC, attending national meetings for many years, and she was awarded the Associate Lifetime Achievement Award for her dedication to the association in 1997.

COMPANIES

Stepan Co. has opened new corporate headquarters in Northbrook, IL. The new office is Stepan’s second Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LLED)-certified facility. The office space was designed with safety, sustainability, collaboration and the company’s “people first” value in mind.

Aker Solutions ASA, DeepOcean Norway AS and Solstad Offshore ASA have joined forces to create Windstaller Alliance. The partnership aims to provide the world’s most cost-efficient and complete product supply, fabrication and marine services offering within offshore wind. The alliance will also pursue other offshore renewables segments.

Diversified Energy Co. Plc has acquired Tapstone Energy LLC, the company’s fourth deal in its new central regional focus area. Tapstone focuses in the Anadarko Basin of the Midcontinent region. Diversified agreed to acquire upstream assets, field infrastructure, equipment and facilities in Oklahoma from Tapstone and an affiliate of Kennedy Lewis Investment Management for $419 million in cash.
