The venture is expected to bottom to the northeast in Viosca Knoll Block 779. According to the permit, the original hole will be bypassed at 7,180 ft. Water depth in the area is 1,132 ft. A successful completion would extend Virgo Field to the northeast to Block 779, which produced gas from one well under a previous lease.
