V-F Petroleum Inc. completed a vertical Wolfcamp discovery in Lea County, N.M, on the Northwestern Shelf of the Permian Basin. The #002 DMT 7 Fee was tested on-pump flowing 110 bbl of 38-degree-gravity crude, 20 Mcf of gas and 35 bbl of water per day from acidized perforations at 9,355-9,434 ft. The Denton Field producer was drilled to 9,616 ft, with 5 1/2-in. casing set on bottom and is in Section 7-15s-38e. V-F is based in Midland, Texas.
