Caza Oil & Gas Inc. has completed a horizontal Upper Wolfcamp oil discovery in the Eddy County, N.M, portion of the Delaware Basin. According to IHS Markit, #003H Mad River 13 State Com was tested flowing 489 bbl of crude, 909 Mcf of gas and 1.959 Mbbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations at 9,750-13,575 ft. It is in Section 13-24s-27e, and the horizontal leg bottomed nearly a mile to the west at 13,887 ft. The true vertical depth is approximately 9,300 ft. It was tested on a 22/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 2,141 psi.
