Description
Three Mountrail County, N.D., wells were completed by Houston-based Marathon Oil Co. from a Reunion Bay Field pad in Section 28-151n-93w. The #11-27TFH Doven was drilled to a total depth of 21,147 ft with a true vertical depth of 10,658 ft. It was tested after 45-stage fracturing flowing 3,134 bbl of 42° API oil, 3.06 MMcf of gas and 5,300 bbl of water per day from Upper Three Forks. Drilled to 21,124 ft, the true vertical depth is 10,663 ft. It was tested on a 64/64-inch choke with a flowing casing pressure of 900 psi and production is from perforations at 11,181-21,000 ft. The #44-21TFH Sura USA is an Upper Three Forks producer and it was tested flowing 4,807 bbl of 41° API oil, 4.663 MMcf of gas and 7,818 bbl of water per day. Drilled to 21,124 ft, the true vertical depth is 10,663 ft. Gauged on a 64/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,550 psi. Production is from perforations at 11,106-20,990 ft. The #41-28H Thoen was drilled to 21,097 ft and the true vertical depth is 10,556 ft. It was tested after 45-stage fracturing flowing 3,771 bbl of 41° API oil, 2.679 MMcf of gas and 2,586 bbl of water daily from Middle Bakken. It was tested on a 64/64-inch choke with a flowing casing pressure of 925 psi and production is from a perforated zone between 11,029 and 20,962 ft. Marathon is based in Houston.
