Description

IHS Markit reported that Blake Production Co. completed two horizontal Oswego-Thomas South Field producers that were drilled from a pad in Section 31-15n-14w in Custer County, Okla. The #1-25H Town of Thomas flowed 890 bbl of 43-degree-gravity oil, 1.14 MMcf of gas and 104 bbl of water per day. Gauged on a 20/64-in. choke, the respective shut-in and flowing tubing pressures were 2,200 psi and 1,650 psi. Production is from perforations between 10,548 and 17,409 ft following acid and fracturing. The Anadarko Bain well was drilled to the northwest to 17,462 ft (9,872 ft true vertical) and bottomed in Section 25-15n-15w. Tested on an unreported choke size, the shut-in tubing pressure was 2,200 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was 1,650 psi. About 60 ft to the east on the pad, #1-31H Sabertooth was tested in a treated interval at 10,210-16,167 ft flowing 995 bbl of 43-degree-gravity oil, 867 Mcf of gas and 534 bbl of water per day. It was tested on a 48/64-in choke. It was drilled diagonally southeast across the section to 16,155 ft and the true vertical depth is 9,998 ft. Blake’s headquarters are in Oklahoma City.
