Description

In the Reeves County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas portion of the Delaware Basin, Denver-based Jagged Peak Energy LLC has completed two extended-lateral Wolfcamp wells on a 612-acre West Texas lease in Section 9, Block 7, H&GN RR Co Survey, A-30. The #2H Whiskey River 0927-7 pumped 1.603 Mbbl of 42-degree-gravity oil, 992 Mcf of gas and 2.2 Mbbl of water per day through acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 11,594-21,451 ft. The Phantom Field well was drilled to 21,521 ft, 11,594 ft true vertical. The lateral bottomed two miles to the southwest under Section 27, Block C3, RSL Survey, A-1287. To the east, #1H Whiskey River 0927-7 flowed 1.554 Mbbl of oil and 1 MMcf of gas per day from acid- and fracture-treated commingled perforations ranging from Bone Spring at 11,137 ft to Wolfcamp at 20,579 ft.
