Description

Three Upton County, (RRC Dist. 7C), Texas, Wolfcamp discoveries were reported by Endeavor Energy Resources in the Midland Basin. The Spraberry Field wells were drilled from a pad in Section 12, Block 41,T&P RR Survey, CO A-1581. The #281 Carbon 12-13 Unit 2 was drilled to 19,900 ft (9,564 ft true vertical). It was tested flowing 1,193 bbl of 40° API oil, with 1.243 MMcf of gas and 1,041 bbl of water per day Gauged on a 42/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 604 psi. Production is from a perforated zone at 10,004-19,760 ft. The #271 Carbon 12-13 Unit 2 was drilled to 19,827 ft and the true vertical depth is 9,580 ft. The well flowed 1,373 bbl of 40° API oil, 1.254 MMcf of gas and 913 bbl of water daily from perforations at 9,827-19,685 ft. The flowing tubing pressure was 506 psi during testing on a 40/64-inch choke. The #251 Carbon 12-13 Unit 2 produced 1,289 bbl of 40° API oil, 1.269 MMcf of gas and 968 bbl of water per day. Gauged on a 40/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 543 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 16 psi. Production is from perforations at 9,809-19,730 ft. The well was drilled to a total depth of 19,863 with a true vertical depth of 9,544 ft.
