Rice Energy Inc. recently announced results from three Utica Shale-Point Pleasant completions in Anderson Run Field at the company’s Mohawk Warrior pad in Section 32, Rice Township, Belmont County, Ohio. The discoveries are on a 272-acre lease in Armstrongs Mills, 7.5 Quad. The #8H Mohawk Warrior is producing 29.19 MMcf with 858 bbl of water per day. It was drilled to 21,773 ft and was acidized and fractured at 9,704-21,706 ft. The #12 H Mohawk Warrior is producing 33.9 MMcf of gas and 822 bbl of water per day. It was drilled to 22,079 ft, 9,677 ft true vertical, and was acidized and fractured between 9,704 and 21,706 ft. The #10 Mohawk Warrior is producing 34.43 MMcf of gas and 858 bbl of water per day. It was drilled to 22,240 ft, 9,677 ft true vertical, and acidized and fractured at 9,841-22,150 ft. Rice’s headquarters are in Cannonsburg, Pa.
